Victims who were kidnapped escape from captivity in Benue.

 

Four victims who were abducted in the Ukum Local Government Area of Benue State have managed to escape from their abductors.
 
 
The Executive Chairman of Ukum LGA, Hon. Jonathan Modi Ta, received the victims in Zaki Biam on Thursday, February 13, 2025.
 
 
The victims, all from Ukum extraction, revealed that they were abducted on December 27, 2024 and were subjected to extreme hardships, which included days without food.
 
 
Honourable Modi expressed a great deal of concern for their well-being when he addressed them shortly after a strategic security meeting with security heads.
 
 
Immediately, he requested that they be transferred to a hospital for urgent medical care, emphasizing the need for professional care due to their fragile health conditions.
 
 
Honuarable Modi urged the perpetrators to stop perpetrating these acts, reminding them that both the law and divine justice will come after those who persist in committing violence.
