An X user shared a conversation she had with her mother and a neighbor who tried to shame her for not having grandchildren.

 

She explained that the X user reminded her mother that she is getting old with no grandchildren and her mother hit back, telling the woman that even though her own daughter is married, she still relies on her for sustenance.

 

According to the X user, some individuals can be quite insensitive.

 

"This woman in my area told my mom happy birthday and didn't let it end there.

 

"She had to remind my mom that she is getting old with no grandchildren.
