The charge for Michael Jordan's son, Marcus, has been switched from coc@ine to Ketamine.

Ketamine has been confirmed to be the substance found in Marcus Jordan's car during his DUI arrest.

The 34-year-old son of basketball legend Michael Jordan has undergone a change in his coc@ine possession charges.

It was thought during his arrest on February 4 in Florida that the white powdery substance on him was coc@ine. The police carried out a field test on the powder, which revealed a positive result for coc@ine.

TMZ reports that the Florida Department of Law Enforcement has established that the drug was ketamine.

According to reports, the mix-up happened because both drugs have the same color and texture. Due to the illegal nature of both coc@ine and ketamine, it is uncertain how this will affect his sentence.

Jordan, who had been arrested at Orange County Jail shortly before his release, pleaded not guilty to DUI charges and posted an Instagram Story update thanking those who contacted him.

Jordan's vehicle was discovered by Maitland police officers on railway tracks near Greenwood Drive and Mechanic Street at around 1:14 a.m. Jordan fled a traffic stop initiated by Seminole County sheriff's deputies just moments before, and the officers learned about it.

According to People, Jordan's legal team entered a not guilty plea on his behalf, as revealed by court documents.

His legal team requested a trial by jury and waived his initial court appearance, leaving him to attend a pretrial conference for the DUI charge on March 20.

Along with the DUI charge, Jordan also pleaded not guilty to charges of cocaine possession and resisting an officer without violence.

These charges will be heard by a jury, as requested by his attorneys, but there has been no set court date yet.
