Nigerians are applauding as Chef Dammy enrols in culinary school, which is a positive sign.

 

Nigerians have flooded social media with congratulatory messages for Chef Damilola Adeparusi, popularly known as Chef Dammy, as she embarks on her professional culinary training at the Hospitality Business School in Lagos.

Chef Dammy, who was recognized for her cook-a-thon attempt in June 2023, has started studying for a Professional Culinary Art Chef diploma.

On Saturday, Chef Dammy shared her excitement on Instagram by posting a picture of herself in her new school uniform, describing it as her first time wearing it as a proper professional. Chef in the making.”

She recounted the warm reception she received from her peers, saying, "I ran back to the hostel to go and blush." When I walked out of the hostel, I started hearing, which was my first time wearing the school uniform. ‘Chef Dammy, you’re finally wearing the uniform, so fine!’ So I ran back inside, took selfies, and started blushing again.”

Numerous Nigerians are celebrating this new milestone in her career as they support her journey into professional training.
