In Kano, gunmen abducted a woman and her 3-year-old daughter.

 

Fatima Bello, 22, and her three-year-old daughter, Nana Unaisa, were taken by gunmen suspected of being kidnappers in Malikawa Sarari, Bichi Local Government Area of Kano State.
 
 
According to a report from the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Bichi, six armed assailants stormed the residence of Bello Murtala at about 9:00 p.m. on February 19, 2025, firing shots into the air before whisking his wife and daughter away on motorcycles.
 
 
The DPO led police patrol team was tasked with responding to the distress call, but the kidnappers had already fled before they arrived.
 
The police have assured that they are making progress in rescuing the victims and arresting the abductor.
