Despite the trauma caused by insults and mockery, a Nigerian couple is celebrating the arrival of their first child after 19 years of marriage.
Kingsley Onyewuenyi and Chika, a Nigerian couple, are rejoicing their first child after 19 years of waiting.
The couple used Facebook on Thursday, February 13, 2025, to express their happiness and gratitude to God for their long-anticipated blessing.
Kingsley recounted how they were insulted and mocked by family members in their post.
“I can't say all I went through in the hands of Umunna in the last 19 years. It has been a horrifying, agonizing, suffocating and traumatic 19 years of insult and mockery of an innocent couple who didn't do any wrong to themselves or the world. This is the lord's doing. Our son Kemdi Princewill Onyewuenyi is here. Our God is great. Thank you chukwuokikeabiama,” he wrote.
Chika expressed gratitude to God for the removal of her tears.
“El ROI. The God that wiped away my tears and shame, I say thank you. It's a baby boy. Welcome Kemdi princewill Onyewuenyi,” she wrote.
