A woman was arrested by Ogun police for viciously stabbing her two friends.

 

The Ogun State Police Command has arrested a woman identified as Deborah for allegedly st@bbing her two friends, Adebayo Omokehinde and Kolapo Aishat, during a scuffle in the Aiyetoro area of the state.

 

The spokesperson for the state police command, Omolola Odutola, who confirmed the incident to Punch on Thursday stated that the suspect allegedly fled the scene after committing the crime but was apprehended days later.

 

According to the PPRO, on January 30, 2025, the suspect allegedly attacked the victims, stabbing them multiple times with a broken bottle and inflicting severe injuries before fleeing the scene.

 

Deborah is accused of swatting them multiple times on their breasts, hands, eyes, and other parts of their bodies in a vicious assault that caused both to be critically injured. The suspect fled immediately, evading arrest for nearly two weeks.

 

Her luck ran out on February 12, 2025, when our officers were able to successfully apprehend her. Deborah admitted to committing the crime after being questioned.

 

"Medical reports were immediately issued to the victims, directing them to a general hospital for urgent treatment.

 

“Meanwhile, upon completion of investigations, the suspect will be charged in court to face prosecution.”
