A new photo shows a toddler who was rescued after being labeled as a witch and left to d!e in Akwa Ibom.

 
Danish aid worker, Anja Ringgren Loven has shared adorable photos of a toddler who was abandoned by her family and left to d!e after being branded a witch in Akwa Ibom.
 
 
At the time of Hope's rescue in March 2024, Hope was severely malnourished and in a near-death state.
 
 
Ms. Loven shared the new photos on Facebook on Saturday, February 22, 2025, and expressed gratitude for the support she has received since the rescue.
 

    “I never know what picture to use of baby Hope because they are all good. So here you have all. Happy Sunday from Land of Hope. Thank you all for supporting our work,” she wrote in a post on Saturday, February 22, 2025.
